hey look! it's the triumphant return of my design blog! and what better way to kick start it again than with a new design patron saint. and for all the months of neglect i'm giving you all the beefiest JUICIEST bestest blog yet! check it.
so there's no one on earth who has influenced my fashion and design sense more than, yes, my big sister! and for many months i have been pining while she travels the world and spreads her wild creativity, style and imagination to many lands and peoples!
she embodies both my ethic "eat and drink colour, design, pattern and its imaginative employment in life, clothes, spices, textiles, dwellings, bodies... " and my favorite quote from artist bjork, "if travel is searching and home what's been found, i'm going hunting, i'm the hunter."
as we've corresponded over the months of her world travels, michelle has clued me in on a few of her fashion and design inspirations and muses right now. she also fabulously had her vogues forwarded to me in her absence. so the following is a tribute to michelle elise "delphine," my muse this season, taken from a few different sources including those vogue mags she's been missin ;)

what: my big sister, a true gypsy traveler, roma princess, huminatarian, writer, illustrator and innovator, a wild rover who is spending her days in the likes of thailand, the united arab emerite states, norway and germany!
wearing: everything from studded gutter punk belts to african print pants, feathers in her hair, zapatista bandanas and billowing long red skirts! (we hope)
inspired by and loving: punks, rock daughters, bohemian flower children, her travels, roses, tribalism, the sea, feather, hats and COLOR COLOR COLOR!
